Dear friends,
This year , we celebrate 10 years The Millennium Jam - the Balloon Festival ... unlike any other -and a celebration it will be ! Actually ,it’s 11 years as we started in 2000 -hence the name- and we haven’t missed one year since ! Come to think of it ,this makes our yearly gathering officially the longest running Balloon Festival without interruption and produced by the same distributor ... in the world !
We are ready for, the longest balloon party in the world : a full five days and nights of original workshops , intense contests , plenty of time for free jamming and unique evening activities .
The festivities start extra early this year : on Thursday 04/11 with the deoration of the hotel lobby in Sunparks : a team of decorators under the guidance of the french balloon maestro Bidou. I can’t reveal too much about this project but I can assure this : you ain’t seen nothing yet !! Come early and join them for a unique experience !
On saturday 06/11, we are hosting again the yearly meeting of the European Qualatex distributors . In the evening , there is a dinner and a phantastic gala . Attendees can register for that separately .Don’t wait too long ‘cause seats are limited.
From Sunday onwards , an incredible team of instructors takes over ; a extraordinary mix of big names and rising stars , top notch entertainers and technically superior balloon twisters.
We have some excellent decor workshops and whoever is interested can take his CBA test.
Like last year , there will be several body painting and face painting workshops .
Of course the emphasis will still be on balloon entertainment in the widest sense !
After the positive feedback of last year , there will plenty of time for free jamming and there will no stage competition . But anybody with a good stage act will get a time slot in the Closing Award Gala. Of course , the legendary Iron Latex Man Challenge will be the adrenaline boost to get the convention going in overdrive on Monday evening and the Modelling competitions will also be something to look forward to .And than we have some surprises ....
One last hint : do not miss the performance of the infamous and famous 'Cocktailbar' from Holland : an unseen mix of balloons ,magic,fun and ... cocktails by two Dutch toptwisters Koen and Jochem ! Balloon entertainment at its best ! You are warned !
We are convinced that the Jam 2010 will even be better than last years edition and we hope to see all of you again in Mol for an unforgettable balloon festival !
