Having graduated cum laude from Florence University with a degree in Italian literature and an emphasis in the history of cinema, Vanessa’s passion and ability for creating characters came naturally. That creative passion eventually led her to balloons when she began working at her family's company, Balloon Express. Since then, Vanessa has started her own business—Balloon Express Shop, in Florence, Italy, with her partner, Heleana Casini, CBA—and has been busy training new decorators for the Balloon Arts Convention Italy. Recent teaching engagements with Pioneer Balloon Company have also brought her to the U.S., South America, Japan, Korea, and Europe.
