Diego has been working with balloons for 20 years but hasn’t won any balloon awards, nor did he do anything special to show off. He competed once in the 2005 National Spanish Magic Congress with a mixture of magic, storytelling and balloons which was awarded in comic magic. In his own words : Somebody showed me how to make a balloon dog and then I "invented" a lot of "already invented" balloon shapes. Actually I found that when I went abroad from my small city and discovered a new world behind each new door I opened at the early Millennium Jams, EBS´s, and other meetings I attended. There I realized I could do whatever I want with balloons and that is the idea I´m working at since then, not only in twisting but in balloon decor too. My work as a magician and storyteller has been enriched a lot with balloons, but my passion for them goes far beyond from what I can use in my shows, so I would like to share some new ideas and techniques in return with the balloon world fans.
