Welcome to the new site of The Millennium Jam , A Balloon Festival .... unlike any other !
We hope that you enjoy going thru tne info of Edition 2009 and the previous ones !
We have good news and we have bad news . Let’s start with the bad : yes it’s true , this year the Jam will last only three days (and nights!) instead of five - but that’s still the longest balloon feast in Europe ! In view of the worldwide economic recession , we reasoned it would be wise to keep both feet on the ground and turn every cent twice before spending it
That ‘s why , this year’s Jam will be a trimmed down version , a Crisis Jam if you will ,with less ‘special activities’ !
It’s back to the roots , Ladies and Gentlemen !
But there is also good news ! The party may not last as long as previous years but that doesn’t mean we will have less fun : three days of workshops and lots of free jamming . And we are pretty sure that stuff will happen ‘à l’improviste’ as it does every year .
Also a trimmed down Jam also means a trimmed down registration fee .For only € 99 (=140USD or UKL 85,-) +tax you can still enjoy three days and nights of fun and folly.
One last thing : for obvious reasons , we didn’t want this edition to be the official 10th Millennium Jam . That’s why we baptised it Edition 9,5 .
And next year will be the ‘full throttle “Big Bang “ : the 10 Jubilee Edition of our little party , with pump and circumstance , and horns and bells and fireworks and ...... the best of the best of 10 years Balloon Festival ... unlike any other !!
