The Millennium Jam 2001
The second edition was set a month earlier in an attempt to attract more young people by avoiding the school exam period .
Marvin Hardy , the 'éminence grise' of the balloon-instructors and the Qualatex Ambassador by excellence , was present aftyer his last minute cancellation of last year due to health problems. In an emotional short ceremony ,he was awarded the first TMJ Career Award for his amazing balloon-entertainer career of more than two decades by his good friend and protégé 'S' Frank Stringham who was -again- phenomenal !.
In category 'small' of the modeling competition, the T-Jam criterium of dimension was abandoned and replced by 1-balloon category .
