Dear friends,

The ninth edition of The Millennium Jam  -The Balloon Festival ... unlike any other - will be one to look forward to !

We are ready for the longest balloon party in the world : a full five days and nights of interesting workshops , intense contests , plenty of time for free jamming and some unique evening activities .

Many of you must have noticed that we moved our event to early November . It's less hot , less busy and the perfect moment to relax one last time before the busy Christmas season .

The best time to recharge the batteries one last time before Santa calls all entertainers back to work !

The festivities start on Friday with an impressive decoration of the hotel lobby in Sunparks : a team of top decorators of our head sponsor Pioneer Europe , maker of Qualatex balloons will transform the venue in a Halloween scenery. Come early and join them ; it will be a unique experience !

On saturday , we are hosting the yearly meeting of the European Qualatex distributors . In the evening , there is a dinner and a phantastic gala . Pre-registration is imperative to attend.

On Sunday , the convention actually starts and an incredible team of instructors takes over ; an awesome  mix of big names and risisng stars , top notch entertainers and technically superior balloon masters , line workers and street buskers. We have some excellent decor workshops and whoever is interested can take his CBA test.

Like last year , there will be several body and face painting workshops and even an early morning juggling workshop to start the day in a good mood . Of course the emphasis will still be on balloon entertainment in the widest sense !

On general demand , we have made some important adjustments to the program .There will be a lot more time for free jamming and there will  no longer be a sepaarate stage competition .But anybody with a good stage act will get a time slot in the Closing Night Gala.

Of course , the legendary Iron Latex Man Challenge will be the adrenaline boost to get the convention going in overdrive on Monday evening and the Modelling competition will also be something to look forward to . But thé highlight of TMJ 2008 will no doubt be the third edition of the world reknowned Balloon Fashion Show .

Nobody can deny that TMJ set a trend in the balloon world : from  China to the USA  this idea is being copied and Balloon Fashion Shows are being organised.

In the spirit of Halloween , this years Show theme is "Heaven or Hell, Angels or Demons".

A team of make-up artists will be stand-by to make the presentation of the creations on the catwalk even more memorable and impressive ! Believe me : Halloween will never be the same again !

The result will be sensational !

One last hint : do not miss the performance of the incredible 'Cocktailbar' from Holland : an unseen mix of balloons ,magic,fun and ... cocktails by two Dutch toptwisters Koen and Jochem ! Balloon entertainment at its best !

We are convinced that the Jam 2008 will even be better than last years edition and we hope to see all of you again in Mol for an unforgettaable balloon festival  ... unlike any other !
